Twelve years on Linden Avenue, and why we never moved to the high street.

Clara founded Atrium in 2011 with one rule: never list a home you would not live in yourself.
Atrium started in 2011 in two rooms above a bakery. When we found a place of our own in 2014, every agent in the city had a glass front on the high street. We took the ground floor of a house on Linden Avenue instead, and painted the door green.
A house, not a shop
We wanted people to sit at a kitchen table to talk about their home, not stand at a counter. Twelve years later, most of our valuations still start with a cup of tea in that front room.
Why green
It was the color of the door at the first house I ever sold. It also turned out to be the easiest way to give directions: twelve Linden Avenue, the one with the green door.
People remember a door long after they forget an address.
Come and see
We are open Monday to Saturday, from nine to six. You do not need an appointment, and the kettle is usually on.
